Here’s a video of my modified “Proto” Havoc. List of Mods – Custom 1mm carbon fiber frame – 1×3x1mm Ball Bearing upgrade – 1mm CF Shaft upgrade – 90mAh LiPo Battery (from the stock 50MaH) The overall performance difference is night and day when compared to a stock PicooZ. The flight time is between 16min – 20min (depending on how I fly) which is GREAT considering the stock flight time was only 9min on a good day. With the increased battery size it weighs in at about 10.2 grams (.2 grams heavier than stock) which isnt bad and its much more responsive with out the paper decals. The bearing/CF shaft upgrade is a must on these little helis, not only is it much quieter, and I mean MUCH quieter, but its much more stable and flies very smooth. *One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that I experimented with making the new CF shaft about 4mm longer than the original. I wanted to see what king of effect, if any, it would have on the flight characteristics. From what I can tell it didnt affect the heli much when flying straight but made a big difference with turning.
